Afterworld

Welcome to Afterworld – a spectral roguelike platformer where your soul is on trial.

You play as a wandering spirit, cast into a realm beyond death, where every room is a reflection of one of the Seven Deadly Sins.  Each room manifests as a deadly trial, pushing your skill, timing, and courage to the limit. Can you transcend the sins that bind your soul and escape the eternal loop? Or will you become just another echo, trapped forever in the corridors of vice?

Why was the game created?

This game is my first big project and was created as part of my engineering thesis. Despite the fact that the project received the highest possible rating from the committee, in my eyes the game is still a prototype. However, the game has a lot of potential and it may or may not get a full version someday.
